| The Annual Christmas Party was held at the Scout Camp Ku-Ring-Gai on the Hawkesbury River, on the weekend of 20th November. Over 30 club members and their families attended this event, the majority staying over for both days. The weather was ideal this year, cooler than last year but warm enough to encourage energetic participants to swim in the river. A wide selection of suitably decadent food was provided by the participants, and the evening was spent chatting and watching visuals of our past exploits. On Sunday we were able to watch the speed boats towing skiers taking part in the Bridge to Bridge water ski classic, while consuming leftovers, cautiously swimming - and more socialising. By mid afternoon we had the place cleaned up and were on our way home. Members were in agreement that the convenience and suitability of this location merited its choice for next years annual event. | |
